Collector car owners will gather for a three-day journey through California wine country, mountain roads, and Pacific Coast scenery
Hemmings Motor Club (HMC), powered by Hemmings, the original collector car marketplace, today announced that tickets are on sale for the second-annual HMC Rally: Paso Robles, returning to California’s Central Coast October 9–11, 2026 in Paso Robles, California.
Last year’s rally sold out as collector car owners from across the country converged in Paso Robles for a weekend of curated driving through the desert and winding mountain roads of California, luxury accommodations at the iconic River Lodge mid-century modern motel, and camaraderie through car culture. Back by popular demand, this year’s encore promises an elevated experience, with a route that will guide participants through the region’s celebrated wine country, over and around the Santa Lucia Coastal Mountain Range, and along stretches of the Pacific Coast Highway, delivering some of the most stunning coastal and vineyard scenery in California.
“Our first Paso Robles Rally proved that the Hemmings collector car community thrives on owning great cars that they actually enjoy driving, and with people who appreciate the thrill of taking to the open road,” said Jonathan Shaw, President of Hemmings. “The response to the rallies has been overwhelmingly positive, and this year, we’re building on that success with an experience that’s even more memorable for our HMC members.”
Participants will depart from either Southern California (Thousand Oaks area) or Northern California (Portola Valley area) on Friday, October 9, for a 220-mile route through stunning backroads of the wine region during the height of harvest, arriving in Paso Robles for a hosted welcome reception.
Saturday, October 10, features a 230-mile Central Coast loop, including a mid-route burger stop and an evening poolside taco bar capped by a fireside panel discussion, hosted by Hemmings’ own Mike Musto. The rally concludes Sunday morning, October 11, with a spirited 50-mile drive to the Pacific coast for a proper sendoff.

Early-bird registration is available for $1,350 through July 31; the registration fee will increase beginning August 1. Registration is per vehicle and includes one passenger. Space is limited, and organizers expect the rally to sell out for a second consecutive year.
